A new state. that's what many people are talking about. The Constitution had made an agreement that mass. was not capable of so much land. Statehood stuck it's noise in to it and Maine was born. Now the people there are looking at this as a new start. One man named Anthony Baffo said '' I think this is a great chance to start over and and take this as a chance to undo what we need to forget.'' Will Rogers ( a real interviewed person) remarked, "Did you ever see a place that looked like it was built to enjoy?''

That's a day for Maine

Not Sure why its called Maine
Is it a main land
Is it a lions Maine
no matter what
its name is Maine
That's a name to remember
